Email #16, Subject: Electoral College

When the Electoral College appoints Trump President today, it will make a laughing stock of our nation, and America should revolt against him. That’s according to Trump himself. Here’s what our President-elect said in 2012 when he thought Romney was going to win the popular vote but lose in the Electoral College:

“He lost the popular vote by a lot and won the election. We should have a revolution in this country!”

“The phoney electoral college made a laughing stock out of our nation. The loser one!”

“More votes equals a loss…revolution!”

“The electoral college is a disaster for a democracy.”

I’m not calling for revolution, but I otherwise agree with Trump. The Electoral College is a disastrous joke on our democratic nation. It should be eliminated before the 2020 Presidential race. Where do you stand on this issue?
